At Boutwell Draper, organised by Simon Barney Briefcase 50 2002
My briefcase offering, a lightbox contains hot glue maps of the area, plastic money and ID. There are all sorts of samples and preserved collections in perspex and plastic bags, including a fake coin collection.
I often make money. I draw it, photocopy it, photograph it and fax it. I keep copies of strange bills and I dissect the money that goes through my hands daily. I forge my own credit cards (not literally, but I make facsimiles out of them). I copy my passport and licenses.
The fucking Gallery put number stickers on the perspex...what idiots.
